Hancock turns into a Plenderleith!

Hi guys,

It has been an extremely long time since I wrote my last blog.  I have lots of catching up to do!

I am going to start with Joanna and her amazing family!!  Joanna lives in Australia with the core of her family being here in the GTA.

Her and her now husband Mark got married at the gorgeous Deer Creek Golf Course in Ajax.  This is a gorgeous venue if you guys have not seen it make sure to click the link and check it out!

Everyone got ready at their parents house in Port Perry and I had a blast doing the make up for them.  I was honoured to finally meet Joanna as her sister has been a big part of my life for the past few years.

This English family definitely knows how to have a good time and I had many laughs while hanging out with them and Joanna was kind enough to bring me back a dairy milk vegemite chocolate bar…really it wasn’t as bad as i thought it was going to be!

The ladies were all airbrushed and their make up was fairly natural.  Their hair was done by Christina LeBlanc who now owns her own salon called the Hairitage House  click the link to go to her facebook page.

Please take a look at this gorgeous day.  All photos were done by Lindsay Nemeth Photography

Steph and Adam’s Big Day

Hey Everyone!!

On November 21st I was lucky to be apart of Steph’s big day!  Steph and Adam got married at the Kingbridge Centre in King City.  I have never been to this venue before and I just want to say it is gorgeous!

We all know when I blog about the makeup I do for weddings I don’t make it all about the makeup.  I like for everyone reading to see everything incase you are looking for a venue or looking for a photographer.

Steph and Adam had a Christmas theme and I just thought it was such a great idea..they took pics with all the girls wearing their rain boots and it looked so great!

Their photographer was the one and only Danielle Arnold she is always so great to work with!!

I had such a great time with these girls the morning of the wedding, everything was relaxed and chill and they were such great people to hang out with.

Check out the pics from their big day!

My Isagenix Experience

Hey guys I’m back again.

Okay so I told you I would give you MY story on Isagenix.

I will tell you a little bit of background on me. I am 5″10 and was pretty much a “tom boy” I was into sports like crazy I was constantly active. I spent every summer since I was 8 years old until my early twenties training as a sprint race kayaker who practiced at least twice a day regattas during the weekend and when I was not in a kayak training I was in a kayak or motorboat coaching. In Highschool if I was not in my kayak training I was in a dragonboat training. When I wasn’t paddling of some sorts I was playing ultimate frisbee in a league on a team with other kayakers (although we only played for 2 years I continued playing ultimate with friends). My winters well since I was about 5 years old until I was 31 I spent my winters at the rink Playing ringette at a competitive level. But I found once I stopped training for kayaking I lost the amazing shape I was once in. I found myself more tired and not motivated because I wasn’t competing against anyone anymore. But I realized that I shouldn’t have to have someone to compete against to live a healthy active lifestyle.

Years ago I was talking to a good friend of mine Mike Pohorly he told me about this amazing woman Rebecca Harrison and about this isagenix program that Rebecca swears by and now works for. I got Rebecca’s contact info and started chatting with her she was very informative and I signed up right away I will not lie the very first time I did it I was not a 100% faithful to the program I mean quitting drinking for a month was extremely hard at that part of my life but I still got great results.

Then about 4 years ago I contacted Rebecca again as I was at my biggest I have ever been (I mean I am 5″10 but 180?? that’s just wrong for me) I was determined to get back to my “fit” self. I did the 30 day program religiously and the gym became my 2nd home I couldn’t get enough of it. I had so much energy and couldn’t get enough of the gym Isagenix of course was hard for the first couple of days I mean your body isn’t used to it however after that it just became a lifestyle in 1.5 months I went from being the biggest I have ever been to being extremely healthy and fit I had a bet to lose 40 lbs and well when I was done my isagenix I weighed 145 so I was 5 lbs over what I was supposed to be but the amount of inches killed what I ever thought I could do. I have never felt better and never been prouder of myself.
People say that you gain that weight back and i will say right now i am not at that anymore however I am never gained all of my weight back and it’s been 4 years. My healthy lifestyle that I was in is not anymore. A year ago I did the 9 day program and I did it to the tee I lost 15 lbs on it and inches as well everyone was asking me how and that was all to do with isagenix.

Now starting Monday I am doing a challenge with a team of people I am doing my 30 days again and I will be going strong at it as yet again I have determination and I am feeling it’s time to get healthy again as I am upset with myself that I have gained ANY of that weight back even though it has been 4 years.

Oh and let me tell you another thing the shakes they taste unreal and there are so many different ways you can taste them. Daily I still use them as my breakfast as they are so quick and easy but again I start 30 day challenge January 6th so those who want to join me let me know! Those who have tried it before comment and tell us YOUR story!!!
If anyone reads this who I know the next part will be embarrassing but below are pics of how big I was followed by the results that I made

Come Join me in the Challenge; Comment if you have any questions

What IS Isagenix??

Hey guys,

Okay so I have started to talk about Isagenix and unfortunately I have not kept up with my promise about the non stop writing about it. So now I am starting a challenge with a team of people on the 6th of this month..oh man that is soon!!

So for those who do NOT know what Isagneix is I will answer that question for you and after I am done answering in a different blog I will tell you MY experience with both the 30 day and the 9 day paks that I tried and hopefully people will comment on their experiences as well 🙂

This is a little bit of help by one of the most informed women on isagenix and and personal trainer who even though in different province as me has helped me a lot and continues to whenever I need it. Rebecca you rock and thank you for this!

People do ask me all the time, what exactly is Isagenix? This is the best description I have ever seen:

Isagenix is an organic “food system” that takes a balanced lifestyle approach to better supporting the body’s natural cleansing and replenishing needs. It is NOT a “diet” BUT a sustainable “lifestyle”, NOT a “weight-loss program” BUT a “body composition system” that builds muscle while burning fat, and NOT a “fast or detox program” BUT a “nutritional cleanse” that supports the body’s natural cleansing/replenishing processes with whole-food nutrition. As the world’s first & ONLY “total body, deep cellular nutritional cleansing and replenishing system” it delivers many unique and diverse benefits for EVERY single cell and organ system from athletes to non-athletes. Being such a comprehensive system adaptable to ALL ages and goals it is difficult to simplify too much beyond this. What I love most are the results; more energy, better sleep, more lean muscle, faster recovery, stronger performance and less body fat!! Transforming lives, one person at a time!!

So that is what Isagenix is all about!!

Check out the next blog for the story on my experiences

30 Day Challenge info

Okay so I’m doing a new thing on my blog to both help myself and others out. It’s called the 30 day challenge. It’s all about losing weight and getting fit..maybe if I write to everyone over these 30 days it will push me even harder!
This 30 day cleanse is with isagenix. I’ll tell you a bit about the program and then my experience with it.
Here’s some info about their 30 day cleansing and fat burning system:

This cleansing and fat burning is a starter Pak that is ideal for those individuals who want to lose weight using a long-term, flexible program. The system is a path to health weight loss and designed to gently rid the body of potentially harmful impurities, while infusing it with essential vitamins, botanicals and other natural ingredients to help shed pounds naturally without the use laxatives, stimulants or diuretics.

The isalean Pro shake that comes with the program is a supercharged meal replacement packed with nutrients and a mega dose of whey protein to assist with weight-loss and/or muscle-building goals, specifically geared towards athletes and physically active individuals. IsaLean Pro Shake is formulated with 35 grams of high-quality protein, healthy fats and energy-boosting carbohydrates along with a broad performance spectrum of vitamins and minerals.

This info is all from the isagenix website plus a lot more. There are more systems and paks you can choose from to find out what the best one is for you please contact me and let me know what you are looking to do!

Alright so now that that part is over the dirt on myself is about to come out…well not all of it just some health dirt don’t judge me!

About 4 years ago I had every excuse in the book to eat fast food and not exercise it wasn’t pretty!! I gained quite a bit of weight and I couldn’t stand it anymore it took a break up to really realize how much I gained and to really push me! I used to be so active and was never worried about putting on weight but when you stop training twice a day and start doing almost nothing and eating disgusting McDonald’s and Wendy’s I guess you are bound to gain some weight!!

Soo I got my good friend Mike Pohorly to hook me up with his unreal friend Rebecca Harrison she lives in BC and is a rep for isagenix. She is unreal and really helped me. The 30 day cleanse is rather hard and takes a lot of dedication but I can tell you that it is so more than worth it!! I stuck to my program religiously and went to the gym about 4-5 times a week I saw results everyday!! I lost 35 lbs in just shy of two months and I felt amazing I had way more energy and felt like I could go on for days!!! I was getting so many compliments I started to be a rep for them as well and. Ow trying to get back into the shape I was in.

Over the past 3 years I have gained a little back not all of it but I def don’t have the flat stomach any more!! So I have decided to do the 30 day cleanse all over again. I mean if I found a system that works so well and tastes so good why change it?!? As a make up artist I meet several brides and hear a lot of them at their trials with me talking about losing weight to be “dress ready” so I figured I would write a blog with everything that goes on in my cleanse and how I am feeling as well as my results of course than ppl will see what amazing products isagenix has!

I will write all my results tell you all how many Inches and lbs I have lost weekly… However my starting weight I may not let you in on that until the end…I know too many ppl here I like it to be a mystery to those I know at least for now! I will do progress photos as well most likely s before and after shot.

If anyone has any questions about the program or me feel free to contact me any time!!! If anyone is on or has done isagenix would love to hear from you as well on this blog. And lastly if anyone wants to join the challenge let me know! I will be fully starting it on Monday!!

Wish me luck!

Erica
