Let’s backtrack for a second; in case you didn’t see my previous blog on Improve Canada. Improve Canada is the largest home improvement centre with over 350 designer and home improvement showrooms all under the same roof! Kitchens to bathrooms, lighting to flooring, designers/contractors and more!

In this blog, I am focusing on the gorgeous artwork I saw from Gallery M2 while visiting Improve Canada! These pieces would look beautiful in any home.

M2 Gallery has tons of beautiful paintings, photographs, custom work and some pottery as well! From abstracts to landscapes – they really, do it all!

Meet The Krems!!

Hi guys,

Okay I was so excited to get asked to be a part of Mike and Erins big day!!  I have known Mike for years so when his now wife approached me I was ecstatic!!

Mike and I knew eachother way back when we were really athletic and sprint kayaking and always dressed in spandex so it was nice to be a part of his day and see the lovely photos of the two of them all dressed up!

I don’t think he could have picked a better match as Erin is such a gorgeous person both inside and out!

Mike and Erin got married at Carl’s catering in Brampton their hair was done at an extremely cute salon called Erin Melinda Hair studio which is located in Pickering.  Photography was done by Photography by Rowen Make up done by Moi (Bride, Bridal party and Mother of the Groom; Mike didn’t let me do his unfortunately).  All make up was airbrushed with my favourite brand Kett Cosmetics.  If you wish to know more about airbrushing you can ask me or you can always check out Kett.

Hancock turns into a Plenderleith!

Hi guys,

It has been an extremely long time since I wrote my last blog.  I have lots of catching up to do!

I am going to start with Joanna and her amazing family!!  Joanna lives in Australia with the core of her family being here in the GTA.

Her and her now husband Mark got married at the gorgeous Deer Creek Golf Course in Ajax.  This is a gorgeous venue if you guys have not seen it make sure to click the link and check it out!

Everyone got ready at their parents house in Port Perry and I had a blast doing the make up for them.  I was honoured to finally meet Joanna as her sister has been a big part of my life for the past few years.

This English family definitely knows how to have a good time and I had many laughs while hanging out with them and Joanna was kind enough to bring me back a dairy milk vegemite chocolate bar…really it wasn’t as bad as i thought it was going to be!

 

The ladies were all airbrushed and their make up was fairly natural.  Their hair was done by Christina LeBlanc who now owns her own salon called the Hairitage House  click the link to go to her facebook page.

Steph and Adam’s Big Day

 

Hey Everyone!!

On November 21st I was lucky to be apart of Steph’s big day!  Steph and Adam got married at the Kingbridge Centre in King City.  I have never been to this venue before and I just want to say it is gorgeous!

We all know when I blog about the makeup I do for weddings I don’t make it all about the makeup.  I like for everyone reading to see everything incase you are looking for a venue or looking for a photographer.

Steph and Adam had a Christmas theme and I just thought it was such a great idea..they took pics with all the girls wearing their rain boots and it looked so great!

Their photographer was the one and only Danielle Arnold she is always so great to work with!!

I had such a great time with these girls the morning of the wedding, everything was relaxed and chill and they were such great people to hang out with.

Anna becomes a Crosgrey

Well it has been awhile and I have lots to catch up on!!

I am starting with this amazing bride I got to meet Anna; her and her bridal party were so fun I felt like I was hanging out with girlfriends I’ve known forever!!

 

Anna and Dave said I do on September 12th 2015 at The National Club in Toronto.  For those who have not heard of it; it is located on Bay street and is gorgeous.

I am so lucky to have met such a wonderful group of ladies!  Thank you Anna for letting me be a part of your big day and I hope married life is treating you guys well!

Graces 4th Birthday – Princess/Superhero styles

Hey everyone!!

Okay so it has taken me way way too long to write this post.
On January 25th Purdy Girls did another birthday party and we had so much fun doing it! All the boys we’re dressed as superheroes and all the girls were dressed as Princesses we did the usual loot bags so in the girls they had their tutus and head pieces and the boys had capes with their initial on it as well as a mask these were provided by the lovely Ang at Princess TuTus .

We painted nails, played pin the tutu/mask on the princess (where we had a huge picture of the birthday girl and they had to tape it on her), we did some crafts as well. Overall it was a great time and I am so glad we were asked to do it!

Alex and Kavita say I do

I am so thrilled and excited to post this entry and these photos/video as I have not done an Indian wedding for a very long time and I forgot how interesting and gorgeous all of their traditions are! I had a great time with Kavita and her family as she is such a lovely person and I got to find out where she got it from during her festivities; her family is amazing!

I know Alex as I work with him and I was honoured when they asked me to do their wedding. Everything about their wedding photos are stunning their colour scheme was Tiffany blue and they did some really creative things with it so I hope you enjoy the photos. The very talented photographers Carolyn and Philippe did an amazing job on the pictures. Kavita you look gorgeous in these photos; Alex I have never seen you look happier!!! Looks like the days were amazing and I am so glad to see and hear all about your wedding!

TODAY’S BRIDE!!

Hey everyone!!!
Very stoked to share some awesome news!!! This month Purdy Girls made an appearance in Today’s Bride Magazine!!!
My cousin and I got to join in on an amazing couples big day Mia Katy & Jason that we got to be a part of is now in Todays Bride!!!

I am extremely excited about this not only because my work is in the magazine but because I did this job with my cousin and nothing makes me happier than to share it with a family member/best friend! Mia is an amazing photographer and I am thrilled that we get to work together all the time!!

Also – stay tuned! – more images from Katy and Jason’s wedding will be on Today’s Bride’s website! We will be checking every day until we see their album; so we will let you know when it’s up.

Mia’s Dress Trashing

This is part 2 of our photoshoot Mia’s turn to trash her dress!! Let me tell you this cousin of mine completely shocked me with all of her gorgeous poses!! Mia of course edited all of the photos but unfortunately she could not take them of her self so I had to step in and help a sister out. So they are not as good as her photos of course but I hope you enjoy them!!
It was a lot of fun and can not wait to do some more trash the dress shoots in the future!!!

Tiff’s Dress gets a bit dirty!!

Hey guys!! So exicted for this post!! My cousin Mia and her friend Tiff wanted to do a “trash the dress” style photoshoot with their gorgeous wedding dresses. So in the summer I packed my make up bag Mia grabbed her camera and they packed their dresses and we went up to my cottage on lake belmont in Havelock for some good quality fun! We took photos in the the forest and on the dock by the end of the shoot they both had ended up in the water in their gorgeous dresses!!!
