Be Our Guest

Okay so I figured I would put some of my DIY stuff on here as well…I mean there is an amazing life I lead outside of all of this messy miscarriage business.

We got married on June 16th 2018 and I wanted something really cool for a seating chart so I found a french door on varage sale that cost me like $10 and I just went to town on it.
I sanded the crap out of it, I repainted it white using Fusion Mineral Casement and then I went over it with A grey from Fusion Mineral and made it looked really distressed.

I wanted to find a cool door knob but I couldn’t find one that made sense with the door soo I went without one, I mean if I didn’t leave that part till last minute i’m sure I could have found a cool one.

I used my #silhouettecameo and my computer to make vinyl cut outs of all the table numbers and names.  I then transferred it over so that a table was in each window of the door, I’m not gonna lie it took awhile to transfer it over but that’s mainly b/c the transfer tape I got was really intense…def not the right one to use.   Then since we love beauty and the Beast in this house….(well really all disney but my husband and daughter were doing their dance at the wedding to tale as old as time)  I cut out Be our Guest on vinyl and put it at the top of the door and bam my gorgeous door was finished.

I was overly obsessed with my door and to be honest i’m really sad that I sold it afterwards..someone bought it to use as a picture frame and well I wish that I just kept it.

Check out my photos of the before and after.  Also if you actually read this let me know if I should do a blog about my diy wedding…I mean I may do one anyways but I’d rather some kind of feed back first 🙂

Meet The Krems!!

Hi guys,

Okay I was so excited to get asked to be a part of Mike and Erins big day!!  I have known Mike for years so when his now wife approached me I was ecstatic!!

Mike and I knew eachother way back when we were really athletic and sprint kayaking and always dressed in spandex so it was nice to be a part of his day and see the lovely photos of the two of them all dressed up!

I don’t think he could have picked a better match as Erin is such a gorgeous person both inside and out!

Mike and Erin got married at Carl’s catering in Brampton their hair was done at an extremely cute salon called Erin Melinda Hair studio which is located in Pickering.  Photography was done by Photography by Rowen Make up done by Moi (Bride, Bridal party and Mother of the Groom; Mike didn’t let me do his unfortunately).  All make up was airbrushed with my favourite brand Kett Cosmetics.  If you wish to know more about airbrushing you can ask me or you can always check out Kett.

Below are a few photos of their day for you to look at.

Erin thank you so much for letting me be a part of your day, it was great to hang out with you and the girls!!  I am so happy for the two of you as you clearly are a perfect match!!

Steph and Adam’s Big Day

Hey Everyone!!

On November 21st I was lucky to be apart of Steph’s big day!  Steph and Adam got married at the Kingbridge Centre in King City.  I have never been to this venue before and I just want to say it is gorgeous!

We all know when I blog about the makeup I do for weddings I don’t make it all about the makeup.  I like for everyone reading to see everything incase you are looking for a venue or looking for a photographer.

Steph and Adam had a Christmas theme and I just thought it was such a great idea..they took pics with all the girls wearing their rain boots and it looked so great!

Their photographer was the one and only Danielle Arnold she is always so great to work with!!

I had such a great time with these girls the morning of the wedding, everything was relaxed and chill and they were such great people to hang out with.

Check out the pics from their big day!

Carolyn and Keville’s big day at Deer Creek

Hey everyone,

Okay so Carolyn I have known for a while from when I was a kid playing against her in basketball when we were in elementary school. She wrote me to ask me if I could do her and her bridal parties make up on the day of her wedding Sept 28th 2013 and of course there was no hesitation I was excited to do her wedding!

Carolyn and her friends had such great personalities I never wanted to leave! I had a great time with them. I believe I even shed a tear as there was some amazing and touching things going on while getting her ready for her big day. Her soon to be husband gave her an amazing gift which made her light up and also shed a little tear and even though I did not know her father I am sure he was an amazing man and I shed a little tear with them (hopefully they did not see this).

Carolyn’s make up was classic red lips with light shadow and the black liner as well as we can’t forget the lashes (all brides need lashes)!!

Carolyn I wish you and Keville all the best you looked stunning and so so happy!! Please see pictures below as well as click the link to see this amazing video . Photography was done by All this Happiness Studio
